This incident not only underscores that Hwy 52 continues to be the scariest highway in the state, but also the decision not to wear a seat belt is a roll of the dice that could cost your life in an easily survivable crash. The Honda Civic was not demolished (it even looked drivable) and the people died because they were ejected.
