I've seen that one before but always enjoy watching again.  I would like a CBR with some real handlebars on it like that one.

What kind of tires do you think they run to do something like that? WOW, I would fall down on the first turn.

I noticed he was running a pretty large rear sprocket like the stunters do, helps with throttle control and acceleration. Also, Spiegler has handlebar kits for most sport bikes.

Not once did he countersteer. Also on the last couple of turns I think he had the fork stops removed. There is a better video of this some where because I have seen it. It looks like his bars are a little higher. He does this a lot better that the cop on the Harley that is for sure. Looks like a timed event.

With the larger rear sprocket he will be running higher rpm's (more in the engines sweet spot), basically he is not going as fast but will be running higher rpm's, also allows more engine braking and torque, so it allows better control at slower speeds. That's why he can accelerate and slow down so quickly.

Stunters use large rear sprockets for the same reason, allows them more control, easier to do wheelies, etc. Don't know if you've ever rode a bike with a large rear sprocket, the take off is amazing, but no top speed at all.

Much better!

The nerve transfer worked.  I am now rewired and the bicep is working again.  Astoundingly cool technology.

The bicep went from completely useless to functioning.  I can only handle bicep curls of five pounds but once working on encouraging the nerve when there is some response is a lot easier than the exercises were nothing outward is happening.

Fine motor control is also much better.  I am playing and performing again (trumpet) and my writing has improved.  I can drive a manual transmission car without letting go of the steering wheel and shifting with my left arm.   I can control a computer mouse with my right hand again, too. :)

I really miss riding.  :'(

Thanks for asking !

Ehrich

Thanks, guys.

It is amazing what our bodies can do if one keeps pushing. I'm tickled with the progress.
