Howdy from Brooklyn Park
« on: May 03, 2013, 08:23:39 AM »
Originally from SC, moved up here a couple years ago for college. Currently enrolled in a Law Enforcement degree program here in Brooklyn Park.

Relatively new to motorcycles (drove the occasionally dirt bike, Ninja, and Shadow) and I bought a 2000 Honda CBR929 this winter. Speaking of which, anyone have a repair shop to recommend because while I recently avoided getting hit, I didn't avoid laying the bike down.

I'm here to learn. Soak up any bits of wisdom I can. Hopefully meet up with some other motorcyclists and enjoy riding as a group.

I'll post pics of the bike (before and after it was laid down) later on.

Lloyd can also help ya out with repairs, many people on this forum use him. Too bad about the longest winter in history, not a very good showing for Mn.
Lots of great riders, and good people around here. Welcome to MN-MSTA

I'm right out by you in Fridley. Where you going for your LE school? Wouldn't happen to be at Rasmussen would it?

Welcome.

I've got love for Lloyd, but he lives too far away for us North-siders.  There is a local guy in Fridley that does fine work for not alot of money.

He's kinda hard to find, so call first:

Welcome to the forum. If you're bike was just cosmetically damaged, it should be pretty easy to repair. Looking forward to seeing the before and after pics to get a better idea of what you'd need to get it squared away.

Make it a fun ride, Lloyd is worth the drive down.
