Newbie here from Minneapolis

Hey everyone, my name is Derek. I am the sales and marketing manager over at Simply Street Bikes (SSB) and have been riding for a while. Currently I have a 2010 BMW S1000RR and have owned a lot of different bikes. I ran into a Greg at LA Fitness in SLP and he said that I should check you guys out for some fun rides. Hopefully I can meet up with everyone soon and introduce myself in person.

Hopefully everyone is having a great season so far!

Welcome! I've met some of the SSB guys at First Thursday and the IMS. Can't remember if I met you or not. See you on a twisty road sooner or later.

I ran up to Duluth & back yesterday on errand (boring freeway miles).

Anyway, caught a guy on a beemer RR southbound on 35...  I slowed down to see what his story was.  He waved.  I waved...

Then I went on doing what I was doing.

Not sure what the story was but he was probably 5 under the speed limit - puttering along in the right lane.

So, the question - How does that RR feel at 63mph on superslab?  Super-fun I bet.    ;D

Welcome! So someone has to ask.... if we mention MN-MSTA is there an in store discount?

Say did you participate in that radar run down in I think it was Osceola a couple weekends ago??? with the 1/4 mile go as fast as you can? It was a car show and air show as well. Ring any bells?
