Greetings from White Bear Lake
« on: July 27, 2013, 11:35:41 AM »
Hi, my name is Steve and I'm a bikeaholic.  It has been 4 days since my last ride.  I'm quite sure I'll fall of the wagon later today.

I've been riding for 25 years, but I've been bikecurious as long as I can remember.

I currently ride a 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 and my wife just replaced her 2007 Bandit 1250 with a 2011 BMW R1200R.

I've noticed lots of familiar names on this forum from other forums I frequent.  I see Vander is a member here.  I've only met him twice, but I've had a man crush on him ever since.

I'm a bit surprised I was allowed to become a member as I put "not tellin'" as my reason for joining when I registered.  I plan to reveal my evil intentions at a later time.

Welcome! Yes, Vander is around here somewhere. I'm guessing that BMW was bought from Moon. I've purchased a couple of bikes from them. They are one of my favorite dealerships.

Welcome!  Come join us for a ride.  :)
Those who have actually NEVER tried riding the track could learn a thing or 10 about being a better streetrider; because let's be honest; none of us (Greg) are as great as we think we are. LMAO!

Hey Steve!

It's been awhile, man.  I unfortunately don't have a sportbike at this time, but if you like to grab a coffee sometime, let me know.

Welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!  I would have posted back sooner, but I was on a family vacation in Wisconsin Dells.

I'm guessing that BMW was bought from Moon.
Yep, my FJR was purchased there too.  I've been quite happy with them. They beat Hitching Post by over $1000 on the FJR, and my wife's R1200R was purchased for less than we would have paid a private seller.

That was a very cheesy intro.
I can't help it.  That's why I've been cursed with my screen name.

That sounds great!  Monday and Tuesday evenings are usually good for me, but once September gets here, my calendar will be pretty much wide open.
