I just received the following from Tony and thought I should pass it along. This is ALL I know.  Please keep Tony and his health in your prayers.  dave

I had to have a tumor removed from my head.  I just got out of the hospital yesterday (Monday). I texted Ray and Roger but apparently messages didn't go thru.    Pass the word that I am, to the best of my knowledge, recovering. The surgery went "well" according to the team leader. Will know more as time goes by. Many more tests are being scheduled. Consultations with Radiology are scheduled. This is my first email I am sending since I got discharged.  Tony Kellen

Tony, I'll be happy to keep the oil circulating in that brand new Ninja as needed.  Seriously, let me know if you need anything.  BTW, how do you know they only took out the tumor?

UPDATE, Tony called me today and was in good spriits. I had left him several messages over the past week and he called me today apologizing for not getting back to me and not being able to ride last weekend because he was unconcious in the hospital with cancer in and around his face. I told him don't worry about it, your in the hospital but he kept apologizing. I tried not to laugh, I'm dealing with the shock of his cancer and he is apologizing for not being able to ride, the guy loves to ride!! He said he may come to first thursday this week but will not be able to ride for several weeks for the sake of recovering and some vision limitations due to the surgery. His prognosis is good and it was caught early, there will be some follow up, he didn't know exactly what kind of cancer it was (not skin cancer) but it had progessed quickly and the surgery was to remove tumors in and around his face. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Tony,

Best of luck for a speedy recovery!!!   Did they do any cosmetic surgery on you while they were there - should I be looking for a 20 year younger Tony at First Thu? ;)
