Hill Country Ride 5/22 road conditions

 It was a good ride but roads were dirty many places. Lots of sand wash, patching, class 5 etc. The worst was a surprising new method by road crews-full road width foot wide patches were covered w pea gravel on CR-SS West of CR-D. The first encounter was on uphill fast left w no runoff ( a dropoff!). Must have been a lot of rain as the river at Dodge was the color of a bad Latte. Also bridge is out on CR-T just West of Oak Ridge Road. Washout and culvert repairs here & there too.
