A friend told me if your going to hit a dear hit it in the middle. Thanks Ray. That's just what I did. I Know some don't believe in God but he was watching me at that moment. I was able to hit the dear and pull over and come to a complete stop. I had Hope on the back and she told me she sure was scared. I laugh some times when I see others shaking after a crash and after I laid on the ground for a while to let the paid go down. I took some clothes off and found myself doing that very same thing. The impact was something else and the noise was too. I didn't even know that there was any one else on the road at that time, but everyone stopped to see if I was alright. And one couple would not leave until we got the bike running and then took all the parts some place so I could come back and get them latter. Very nice indeed. The bike, well it rip everything off on both sides and bottom. The mirrors were still on there I don't know why and the speedo. It looks like a naked bike. Thanks to Ken and Dave for following all the way home. I had no lights you couldn't even find a piece of anything that looked like it was a part of the head light. Well we'll see how I feel in the morning.

Sorry to read about this deer hit. Glad you two seem to be ok. I've been saying for years they
need to issue more hunting permits and increase the quota. Humans more or less got rid of
the buffalo, we should be able to do the same to the deer.

Those who have actually NEVER tried riding the track could learn a thing or 10 about being a better streetrider; because let's be honest; none of us (Greg) are as great as we think we are. LMAO!

Glad you're as alright as can be. Thanks for taking a hoof rat out for the team. I suspect they are going to be thick this fall.
Any pics?

Good grief! Someone WAS watching over the 2 of you. I'm thankful you're OK!

Track days are like climbing the rock wall at REI.
Perhaps I need to stop taking the high road.

Well I went back to get my parts were this couple to them to a restaurant in Stockton called Gelly's. First place on the left going South threw town. I walk in and ask do you have some motorcycle parts. Yes there right here how is the rider. That's me. You , yea. This works its way all around the place. We thought you went to the hospital. NO. They yell outside and say hey the guys here that hit the deer. And the owner comes to talk to me about. They were all amazed that I was OK and didn't go down.
