111 and no probation?  Something doesn't sound right here.  ;)

Just talked to Casey and he said judge reduced from 111 to 64 on 55, no probation, no record, just paid fine.

There is an automatic license revocation in Minnesota for speeds exceeding 100 mph.  Seems strange a judge would casually reduce it to a Dimler.

Any chance it was plead to a Dimler AND a Careless Driving perhaps?  :)  You know you can look these things up.

If that was me, I would gladly pay that fine, than having the careless on my record. I was really surprised when they let him go with just a ticket when caught at 111 on 55.  I do remember back when Minnesota passed the 100mph law and the automatic suspension.

Hard to say.  The last couple of tickets I've had didn't impact my insurance.  Not sure if they didn't check or what happened there.  I would probably take the moving violation unless I was looking at switching up my coverage in the future.

I got busted going 109 last fall and my license didn't get revoked. I've been pulled over on the bike since that happened and im sure if it was revoked they would've informed me.

Count your blessings.  It's a real law.    https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/?id=169.14

"Subd. 1a.License revocation for extreme speed.

The driver's license of a person who violates any speed limit established in this section, by driving in excess of 100 miles per hour, is revoked for six months under section 171.17, or for a longer minimum period of time applicable under section 169A.53, 169A.54, or 171.174."

BTW, Cops generally don't patrol racetracks.  ;)
