For Sale/Wanted to Buy / Fs Gerbings Set
« on: January 14, 2013, 04:53:52 PM »
Hey guys

I'm selling my Gerbings liner, gloves and permenant controller. Total the set up is worth 460+ tax, I'm asking 250.

Everything works great, liner has been hung up and gloves are kept in the package when not in use. No smells, no rips/wear marks. Like new. Less than a year old.

Liner is a large long in size and gloves are large. I'm about 6 foot 215.

Forgot my rear tire cord started showing at the end of my last ride on the 21st. Don't know if I'm gonna go out now. Inclined to replace it today or tomorrow...

Okay no worries man. I might just cruise around north and grab a photo tag or two.

Enjoy the new liner!

I had one of these ads sent to me and when they asked where to send the check, I sent them the head of CIAs Infomation. She emailed back saying how she was gonna report me to the FBI and CIA and I said go right ahead they already have the check. Hahahah

From what I understand:

They send you the check.
You cash the check and send the item and pay for shipping.
You send the item.
Once the item is sent, the check bounces and now you owe the bank money and lose the item you had for sale (because you already sent it)

Check out Ducati minneapolis. They started stocking a new brand of heated gear and may still have some gerbings liners/gloves left over behind the counter. I paid 100 for my liner there a few months ago :) I've sent a few people over there since and 2 of them got the same deal as me.

You'll have to call and ask specifically for the gerbings stuff though or they will tell you what's on the shelves in the store.

Sorry my post with a little ADD lol. Boredom at work does crazy things to you.

Do some reading over the winter and spend some time online watching some instructional videos.

Sign up for a trackday/advanced riders course in the beginning of next season. Both the reading and Lloyd's track days did wonders for me in terms of riding.

There's a lot of different areas for growth it's just a matter of what specifically needs to be addressed. Yes very broad net.

What it takes to be a good rider:

1) Stay out of the ditch but if you insist, aim for a soft landing.
2) Stay cool. Think clearly.
3) if your slow, your slow. End of story. No need to keep up at the front of the pack if this is your first ever group ride.
4) no your suspension settings and tire pressures were not the reason why we had to wait 5 minutes at the stop sign for you.
5) no one cares that you can do stand up wheelies
6) 0-60 times, Horsepower and top speeds are all irrelevant. Period.
7) older doesn't mean slower.
8) oh you spent 1500 on that new ohlins suspension? Lets ride, I'm willing to bet you'll still be slower than Vander (had to poke some fun buddy)
9) I would keep adding to the list but its time to punch out and go take my afternoon nap.

Good to hear your getting better. I don't know you too well but it's always hard hearing of someone we know going down and ending up in the hospital.

On an unrelated note, what kind of bike did you get bill? Another wing?
