I most likely won't be doing any off season riding. Hoping the Bike Part/Gear Fairy
stops at my house though.

My winter plans usually put me on a set of parabolics locally and an annual
trip with my brother to Steamboat and an annual trip with my daughter to
the French Alps. Also a trip or two up to Lake of the Woods for some Walleye
and Perch.

And watching Twist of the Wrist I & II on the big screen with a fire blazing!

I did Theilman last year, ate more dirt that one day than the
whole season prior!

A lot of people there. Maybe we can trailer to Loretta Lynn's
in the spring.

I would love to do a dirt ride!

I think it would just inflame the issue of the hatred towards motorcycles and thinking that motorcyclists are wreckless, by joe public, without actually doing anything to reform bad behaviors on bikes or make riders any safer....

it would be just like statistics, it could be used to prove that motorcyclists are
reckless or as teaching tool for ATGATT. not that gear would save you from
being run over by a truck.

TK, I'm not working again yet for a couple of weeks at least.  Even though my cars are manual transmission I have figured out how to drive with just my left hand.  ;D

So let me know if you need a ride to run an errand, etc. that you can't quite do yourself.  With your one good leg and my one good arm we can be unstoppable.

all I'd like to say is that I agree with Brent. And as one of the slower riders, I appreciate
what he said. I'm comfortable with being a slower rider, and that doesn't equate to being
less experienced, that's just my comfort level and pace. That's a huge reason why I choose
not to do a lot of group rides. There's a few faster paced riders that I won't ride with because I
always feel like they're silently wishing I'd ride faster, it shows on their face and their body language.
And then there's a few faster paced riders (Vince, Martin, Jon P), that I enjoy riding with, and never make
me feel like they're waiting for me to hurry up.

I also prefer to ride in the back of any group, I like having a bit more personal space. Always have.
