With the warm temps last weekend, did anyone get out and ride?
-
Saw a couple of newer wings at the Waconia Snowmobile Event this past Saturday....??? All of our bikes are sleeping for the winter - waiting for a couple of these snowstorms to materialize so we can get out on the snowmobiles.....

Yes I rode both Saturday and Sunday maybe 120 miles over all.
I just needed to get out on the new ride and couldn't handle it.
After the snowmobile parade of vintage machines in Waconia I made the call to take a ride. It had rained pretty good the night before and the roads were in good shape along the white salt look was gone and they were dry.
Of course as soon as I head out West on 212 it starts raining on me at least half the time on the bike. Sunday was clear and the sun broke out.
I have a feeling I'll be getting some saddle time in this summer.

I was a Honda St on Saturday. I took off work early and loaded up the R1 and took it to the dealer for that all brand new tranny. They are going to put a new air filter in it. So it is going to be really fast now. It will kick Gixxer 750 ass if you know what I mean. LOL.

I ride 50 miles every day it is above 10F and dry or 35F if wet. Can't stand commuting in a box.

Oh my - don't air the tires at the same time or it will get away from you... ::)

I enjoy the winter months off my bike. For me, this is the time of year when there is time for other interests! :)

I put on a little over 900 miles this weekend.

Are you saying you broke the transmission on the R1 already?

All 2015s R1s are under recall for a new tranny.
