As they say about guns, "When you can pry it out of my cold dead hands!"   I got mine at Century in Stillwater.  The fit on the Gerbings isn't self evident (sleeves are short), so if you go with Gerbings, you may want assistance fitting it.

I have a Gerbing heated jacket, it fits great and LOVE it! Spend the money on it, you won't regret it.

Check out Ducati minneapolis. They started stocking a new brand of heated gear and may still have some gerbings liners/gloves left over behind the counter. I paid 100 for my liner there a few months ago :) I've sent a few people over there since and 2 of them got the same deal as me.

You'll have to call and ask specifically for the gerbings stuff though or they will tell you what's on the shelves in the store.

Can't remember if I told you the brand of mine Jamey but it's a Tourmaster Synergy 2.0.  Comes with the dual controller for about $200, 85 watts of draw.  Got mine online.  I would guess you're a medium or large like we said depends how you want it to fit.

If you're desperate, you can make your own out of heating element wiring and a thermostat.  There are kits on the web but at the end of the day, you might wind up saving a small amount of change for something that is only lukewarm at best.  I agree with the others and suggest you ask Santa for a new one.

Matt and Jeff thnx. Gonna start looking. Joel also mentioned that all manufacturers will be at the Motorcycle show and will discount gear. I like discounts;-)

PK, not too inclined of putting one together myself. With my luck, I will get warm by electrocution. Thanks for your input...

I have had good luck with my Kanetsu from Aerostich, very thin and light. It may be lower wattage than some but with the windstopper fabric it works well.

Are you riding a "salt bike"?  Because I've ridden in early December and nothing good comes from a relatively high humidity and salt on the road.  One year, my brake pads were literally rusted to the disc come Spring.  Granted, not catastrophic, just disheartening to see what one ride can do the the steel bits.

Argh, they are spraying salt down tonight because the humidity is high and they expect fog overnight.

Okay no worries man. I might just cruise around north and grab a photo tag or two.

Enjoy the new liner!

I'm planning on Minneapolis to Mankato / Lake Crystal to check out an RV, then possibly east / northeast to have some fun on the way home if I feel up to it.  Can't leave until after noon though so it'll probably be ho-hum down and back...
