I'm hoping so Vince....I know it so far is a better fit for me than a couple other forums I'm on.  Look forward to getting out & riding with you again this season.

I'm considering the same thing Vince.  I am leaning towards a Roadcrafter full suit from Aerostitch.  Maybe we should do a ride to the Rider Warehouse & check them out.  I hear if you go there you get a discount & may even find something on-hand that would work without having to special order.  I'm up for it!!!

For Sale/Wanted to Buy / For Sale 2002 Honda CBR 954RR
« on: March 17, 2010, 12:19:55 AM »
My 2002 Honda CBR 954RR that I bought new in the crate in the spring of 2005 needs to go.

It is all stock except the following:

Erion Racing Slip-on exhaust
Zerogravity Double Bubble Windscreen
Aftermarket grips by Pro Grips
Kevlar front brake lines
Custom carbon fiber gel seats by Sergeant
Frame sliders
Custom tank protector
K&N air filter (not installed yet new in the box)
Fender eliminator kit w/smaller turn signals and integrated turn signals in the tail light

At the end of the 2009 season I put on new tires, new chain & sprocket set, & did a fork seal job.  Has always been adult driven.  A full service was done at 20k including valves, carb sync, oil change, coolant flush/fill, brake fluid flush/fill, and all necessary adjustments made to cables & any other Honda recommended items for that mileage.  It is the black/silver/white one only made for a couple of years.

Please call Mark at 612-910-3339 if interested.

Nice to see you on here Brent.  135k on a bike....WOW!!  I'm hoping one day I'll have a bike I love that much to keep that long.

You are right about Ray's rides....I went on some last season & look forward to more of them this year!!  I am going to try to lead some rides as well but I am fairly new to MSTA so we'll see how that goes.  I have not had many complaints on rides I've put together elsewhere so I'm sure it will go well here.

Look forward to meeting you & riding this year!!

We'll be out before you know it Ray!!  I'm prob going to get the sportbikes running Wed night & take one out for a quick spin.  Don't want to be anywhere near the cities though since there will likely be an increase of drunk drivers on the roads due to St. Patty's day.

I like what you created here & hope it is very successful!!  I look forward to riding with you again this season.

LOL....I have to give a friend of mine credit for that line!!  Well seriously...my name is Mark and I live in Newport right now but may be relocating soon to a yet to be decided place.  I have been riding since the summer of 1999 and currently own three bikes.  They are:

2002 Honda CBR954RR (which is for sale)
2006 Victory Vegas Jackpot
2009 Suzuki GSX-R 1000

Last year I rode over 15000 total miles & as the season went on I found myself going on longer & longer rides.  This is thanks in part to Ray, Lloyd, Vince, TK, & others I met thru the yahoo group.  I hope to continue that this season.

I'm a pretty laid back person & easily approachable so if you want to know something just ask!!  Look forward to meeting/getting to know others & getting out to put miles on this season!!!!

General Banter / Re: Welcome!

....it is our hope that this forum comes to be the leading forum for balanced, open, respectful interaction between Minnesota's sport and sport-touring riders

Well said Ray!!  I know I will be happy to do what I can to see this forum succeed in it's mission.  I think this is going to give some other forums a run for their money!!

I got my feet wet on other forums over the past couple seasons and a lot of you on here will likely recognize my name from elsewhere.  So far what this forum is geared towards is more in line with my riding ideals lately.  I do hope to contribute in a positive respectful manner & look forward to seeing more & more of the yahoo group guys on here.

Hopefully as things get going we can do a meet & greet so we can place faces with the names of people we have not met yet.
