Title: SHOCK SERVICE
Post by: GUZZI JOHN on February 09, 2014, 11:08:59 AM
My Wilber's has enough miles that would call for fresh oil etc. Who has had this done? Local or not? If it weren't for the nitrogen charge I'd strip it myself. Yesterday I moved the projects out of the way and began stripping the Futura for service. Gotta get her ready-Spring is near! GJ ::)

I've been using 2K Motorsports in Richfield for this work and have been satisfied with the results. Kyle isn't great about answering the phone or maintaining regular business hours. Apparently texting is the best way to get a hold of him.

Locally, I'd also use Glenn Hinton and Midnight Cycle, but he is in Hasting, which is a little bit too far to go for me.

As I recollect there are also some dirt oriented shock service guys up closer to you that people use, but I have no experience with any of them as they are once again a bit too far to go for me.

I'll second Glenn at Midnight Motorcycle. He's helped us with suspension service on our race bike (Traxxion certified dealer) and my mini motard (Zhengling forks). Knowledgeable mc guy, skilled machinist, good guy to know for many bike related services. Always interesting projects going on in the shop too.

I've been happy with Bruce at B-Line Control in Lindstrom.
