For Sale/Wanted to Buy / For Sale: Cycle Mate CM 2000 Trailer; $650 obo
« on: November 25, 2018, 03:12:00 PM »
I have a motorcycle trailer for sale.  Bought it but it won't work for what I was looking to do with it.

More information upon request but the whole trailer has been gone thru.  Wiring is solid, tires are great, and body work is in great shape.

Last owner took it out to the East coast & back this past summer with no problems.  Looking to get $650 or best offer.

PM me or contact me via the information below.

General Banter / Red Knights Motorcycle Club

I am trying to revive the first chapter in MN of this group. I need 6 other people. Please spread the word. Post up if you can help....the deadline to save the Chapter is fast approaching (mid-August)!!!!

All that is needed is a fire service affiliation, a motorcycle, & license w/motorcycle endorsement. But even some of that might be able to be worked with if you don't have it at this moment.

An excerpt from the international page:

"We are an organization of over 400 Chapters and 10,000 people, the largest and oldest Firefighter based MC in the world. We are the ONLY organization that I am aware of, of our size that has a perpetual memorial in place as we do. Our members are spread across 4 continents and speak over 7 languages."

I hope there's at least six other people I know or know someone who would like to join me in this great organization.

So is this happening this year or has it already passed?

I had it on my calendar but think I carried it over from past years.

I'm posting this for a co-worker.  He does know me as Tumbler so tell him you heard about it here.

He is selling his 2015 Yamaha Stryker that has 2450 miles & was barely ridden.
He bought it brand new in 2015 but has a child on the way so needs to sell asap.

No accessories so it is bone stock, all break-in services done at original dealer, & was bought from Umotor's in Fargo ND.  Was also kept in a heated garage since it was bought.

So yes the bike is up in that area but thought I would post it up since it's a pretty good deal.
If interested contact Steve at 701-220-7470 (call/text) for more info.

(I tried to post some pics but this forum only allows up to 3000 total KB of attachments.  They were taken with a cell phone & were all about 3MB each.  PM me for them or contact Steve.)

General Banter / Mindoro Cut??
« on: May 08, 2016, 02:10:20 AM »
On my way back to my place in WI this last Fri part of my route included WI Hwy 108 thru the cut but I thought it seemed different than in the past.

Maybe I'm crazy & I didn't go back thru just to see but thought I would post up this question to see if others have noticed that this year if you've hit it.  I also thought I remembered hearing that the 108 was re-routed to take the cut out.

If anyone has insight on this I'd love to hear it.....unless like I said I am just crazy.  LOL

Well my WI adventure is coming to an end sometime soon & I'm looking to make a move back to the Twin Cities.  I left a position with the Mahtomedi Fire Dept to go to Madison WI and am looking to get back to that area.  I have some places in mind and the search continues but I may have a need for a roommate or two.

It would be starting some time in the next six months and so far it's looking like $500-750 each depending on the place, utilities, & amenities.  I need to be within 7 min of the Fire Station on Stillwater Road so likely will not be interested in places outside that range but won't rule anything out just yet.  So post up anything you think may work.

As I mentioned the places I've looked at in the past would be around $500-750 per month per person but I am open to suggestion as long as it's within that area. I also wouldn't mind a place that is dog friendly if possible. I don't have one yet but plan to get one.

So if you or someone you know is interested please get a hold of me.  I am flexible somewhat on the time frame but do have a defined window in which the Army will pay to move me home.  Hopefully something will work out soon and I can get back into the Cities and start making more rides/events in general & reconnect with a lot of you out there.  Contact info is below if you need it.

For Sale/Wanted to Buy / For Sale 2009 Suzuki GSX-R 1000
« on: May 05, 2015, 11:06:19 AM »
Yes it's true...I'm trying to sell another one of my bikes.  For those that remember the last time I posted a bike for sale on a forum the thread lasted for about 2 years!!  The bike sold that season but the thread carried on for some reason.  LOL

This time my 2009 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 that I bought new in the spring of 2009 needs to go.  One owner bike, adult driven, well maintained.  I am interested in trading or selling it but most likely will just sell it outright.  It is all stock except the following:

Zerogravity Double Bubble Windscreen (dark smoke)
Aftermarket grips
Kevlar front & rear brake lines (not installed yet)
ASV levers
New battery

Rubber is like new, chain/sprockets are in great shape, brakes were done last season, and it has just under 35k miles.  It has been down twice but only minor damage and they were both low speed so no major structural damage.

Everything that was damaged has been replaced with the exception of the exhaust.  Extra plastics to go with bike if wanted.  All major services done on regular intervals by certified mechanic.  It is black/silver in color.  Great bike but I am thinking about getting something different for the season so wanted to see if there is any interest in this one first.

Anyone interested or know someone that is please let me know.  I'll be looking to get $5000 or best offer.  My contact info is below.

I'm hoping someone out there is looking for a car like this or knows someone that is.

- Red Nissan Sentra 1.8S special edition
- just over 103k miles
- newer tires & front brakes
- sun roof, fully loaded charcoal cloth interior
- 6 disk CD changer w/Rockford factory sound system
- bumper paint damage front & rear but adult driven so no major structural damage
- mid-upper 30's mpg in town

Great commuter car & pretty fun to drive for what it is...looking to get $6500 or best offer.
The pic here is an older one that doesn't show the bumper damage but you get the idea.

Thanks for looking!!

« on: May 10, 2012, 05:31:01 PM »
I have it on my calendar that there is a MN State Boogie Ride planned for Sunday May 20th.

Does anyone know about this or did I just move it to this May since I missed it last year when people did it?

But hey if people are interested in doing a ride like that on that day post up here & if we get enough interest I'll start a new thread in the rides section.

Don't forget to change your clocks ahead an hour before you go to bed tonight.

Also it's a good idea to change your smoke detector batteries at the same time.

"Basically, you carry something the size of a credit card in your wallet, and you sign up online. From the sounds of it, there are quite a few people signed up for this. If you ever get in an accident, or have some other type of problem on the road, you call the number on the card and they redirect you to people in your area that have also signed up for this, that can come help you. Likewise, when you are signed up, you can check boxes saying that you are available to help if someone in your area gets hurt or breaks down or anything."

Saw this link elsewhere & thought others on here may be interested.

I know people can list somethings in the MSTA book but thought this was another interesting & easy way to share things if you want to.

Thoughts?

My Dad has been operating a locksmith business since 1976 or so but has worked for 3M also.  Now that he has retired from 3M he could use some support for the locksmith business.

He is going to specialize in residential and commercial locks and I am going to take some of the automotive/street rod/motorcycle side of it.  If anyone needs some lock work done or know anyone that does...let us know.

I'll have business cards available at the events I make it to and am available on here as well.  Any and all help is appreciated!!!  Thanks for at least reading this post!!!

Off Topic / So a new look.....wtf Ray.....no warning?
« on: October 11, 2011, 05:51:39 AM »
Did anyone else notice things look different around town?

Some things are good but I've found some that are a PITA.

Just sayin....would have been good to have a heads up on something like this!!!

Then we can look at it, how it works, what it can do, & things like that.  Just sayin'. :-)

Not just be ambushed by it on a dreary Tues morn!!

« on: November 12, 2010, 08:55:01 PM »
I was wondering if someone has an enclosed trailer that can fit 3 bikes (1cruiser & 2 sportbikes).

I need to get them from Apple Valley to storage in Stacy.

I have a tow vehicle...just need the trailer.

Could offer some $$ or some products from my business in trade.

Let me know as soon as possible...since its snowing this weekend I'd like to get them put away sometime next week.

For Sale/Wanted to Buy / Direct TV Installer Wanted
« on: August 01, 2010, 05:31:51 PM »
Looking to see if there are any installers out there for Direct TV or if someone knows anyone well that does that sort of stuff.

Need to get some new equipment and wanted to see if anyone has a hook up or place to find things cheap.

Specifically need at least a 3 LNB dish (or just the LNB’s to work with my existing one) & a HD receiver.

Been looking on ebay & such but would like to get stuff locally if possible.  Post up, PM, or get a hold of me via cell 612-910-3339.
