Title: Powder Coating in MN/WI ?
Post by: fjr_elk on July 28, 2013, 07:57:22 PM
(I also posted this to sport-touring.net Region 4)

A buddy of mine who lives in Sartell, MN has a Yamaha SR500 that he wants to strip down to the frame and get it powder coated. Can anyone recommend someone in Minnesota that does powder coating? Obviously I'd prefer a recommendation based on having some work done by them. Thanks.

All Pro powder coating is right in St. Cloud, across from the street from the Government Center by Mills Fleet. He can sand blast it too, if you dont want to do any prep work.

So what is a fjr_elk?

Inquiring large members of the deer family need to know.  :)

I ride an FJR, and my nickname (well, one of them) is Elk. I had to come up with a username and my mind blanked.

Always glad to run into a fellow member of the Cervidae family.

Cool!

My initials are ELK so I am a wapiti from the beginning.

given the high elk population here, I think I might need to get a Elk tag this year... :-D

I have a friend that does powder coating out of Ramsey.

I'll get more info about his business then post up.  Very good work & great guy.
