We here in MN - at the time of this writing - are allowed to "drive for pleasure".

MC riding would certainly fall in that description IMHO.  (Even though we are "riding" not "driving" I am sure they are viewed the same)

My 2 cents.....

Steve

Now if the temps would get above freezing..... :headbang:

Right now between Sue & myself we are at 7.

However, not enough time to ride each one even if they were all running.

Need to purge and update dirt bike collection and get a couple of more modern bikes to actually RIDE!

This could change however after we move and hopefully get more space to keep and maintain things.  I am kinda a softie for the 70's & 80's bikes - especially 2 strokes....   ;)

As far as number to say too many - I don't think in my world it exists....

For me the question is what will be the "go to" for the MSTA?  Personally I would prefer the forum but I am old...  ;).

I am seeing a trend toward FB.  At the present time it seems both are being used.  Having two places to check is a step backwards IMHO.

Can the powers that be enlighten me (us)?

I was a Honda St on Saturday. I took off work early and loaded up the R1 and took it to the dealer for that all brand new tranny. They are going to put a new air filter in it. So it is going to be really fast now. It will kick Gixxer 750 ass if you know what I mean. LOL.

Oh my - don't air the tires at the same time or it will get away from you...  ::)

Saw a couple of newer wings at the Waconia Snowmobile Event this past Saturday....???  All of our bikes are sleeping for the winter - waiting for a couple of these snowstorms to materialize so we can get out on the snowmobiles.....

Just found this:

Looks to be in the same vane as the "Faster" series but perhaps more contemporary???

General Banter / Free $150 Gift Certificate
« on: May 27, 2015, 09:16:36 PM »
Hi All,
I was fortunate to win a $150 gift certificate towards a GlowRider Jacket (from AdaptivTechnologies) at TwiStar this year.  Unfortunately, the jackets are not what I’m looking for. It would be a real shame if the gift certificate goes unused.   Is anyone interested in using the gift certificate?  It brings the cost down to about 50%.  The gift certificate is only good till June 8th, so if you are interested PM me ASAP.  More information about the jackets can be found at www.AdaptivTech.com.

Sue Miller (I'm using Steve's Login until mine is approved).

Hey Mike,

Any idea which days you are going to be there?  The 15th is a Wednesday just wondering if you are planning on being there before/after/around?

Sue and I will be discussing in the next few days on if this is possible for us.

    Thanks!

I agree Ray it will be a long tough row to hoe, but at least there is what I hope a positive change moving away from DMG.  It has to start somewhere and I think this has as good a shot of being successful as we have seen in the AMA roadracing scene in quite a while.

Manufacturers are key as you state.  I hope this management gives them the push to re-install themselves in the US RR scene.

We'll have to wait and see.  Daytona next year will really be something to keep our eyes on to see if they are starting to turn things around.

Steve

BTW - glad to see Rainey was confused with the previous class names - I thought I was the only one....  ;D
