Title: New (to me) Italian beauty
Post by: flyinlow on August 21, 2010, 10:48:44 PM
Picked up this 03 Aprilia Tuono last night, 7400 miles on it, like new, got it for $4000. Has the Aprilia Racing titanium exhaust with chip, new tires. 990cc Rotax vtwin, about 130hp at the crank.

Congrats Mike! Looks like you scored a great deal.

You really seem to have a thing for V-twins.

Beautiful bike. That Tuono was a real find.
I am getting the itch again.  I haven't bought a new  bike in almost a year.  Prices on used motos are very reasonable.  I have to start breaking the news to my wife. "I am going pick up a few overtime shifts at work in the next six weeks", "if I move one of the dirt bikes to the back of the garage I can fit the fifth bike in just fine", "this one is different than the Superhawk, it will fill a gaping hole in my armamentarium", etc.  I can't seem to get an '08 CBR1000rr out of my head. But I am open to suggestions.
