Title: Daylight savings time
Post by: Tumbler on March 10, 2012, 09:27:37 PM
Don't forget to change your clocks ahead an hour before you go to bed tonight.

Also it's a good idea to change your smoke detector batteries at the same time.

My detectors start going off when they get weak and they all go off when one goes off and the batteries last way more than a year.

Hey look at it this way...its cheap insurance.  LOL

Seriously though, from a fire prevention standpoint that is what the NFPA recommends to do.

Mostly because it's an easy thing to remember...every time you change your clocks change your detector batteries.

No matter if they need it or not.

Only the government would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it to the bottom, and have a longer blanket

Not to mention that they claim they do it for the farmers.   I've never met a dairyman who says his cows like DST better than ST.

I'm either asleep or at work indoors during the morning so I much prefer DST, I'm a happy man this week.  I wish it would last all year.
