It's my neighbor's (and his listing).  First time I have seen it out of the garage in 10+ years.... not to say it has not been out, but not much.  He admits it is priced over book, but for an almost new 14 year old motorcycle....

Steep asking price, but that's a nice bike.
Hopefully the hoses and seals haven't dried up or rotted too much.

But maybe he'll get it...?

yes it is a nice bike, but it is not an almost new bike.  everything is aged on this.  a slight premium is warranted.  i bet he gets a buyer.

My opinion, the market is pretty soft on these bikes. I had mine up for sale and it is an 04 NH edition with 13k on it for half that money, nothin, only a couple of calls. My guess is it will be like my 86 vfr in near perfect condition, lots of people would like to own it but not willing to spend the money. 9g's for a P1 is pretty steep.

Yep, saw that.
But this is like getting set-up with a 400 lbs date after being told, "she's a bit on the heavy side".
Capiche?
