I'm usually going to fast for them to come after me. If I am going slow enough for them I will stop. Then I talk my way out of it. I have an escort sitting on the shelve. Been there for years and I just never use it. And even if my eyes are not as good as a decade ago. I see those guys right away and get slowed down most of the time.

I didn't think of it before. But if you get a H2 SX SE. You can leave the bags on and use the cruise control and plow through the wind. Take the bags off and you the throttle to control all that power and you can slice wind all day if you like. I would buy a new seat either way if you slice or plow the wind.

Well you had two bikes at one time. This bike does both. Ride with bags or without. Full power or something less. Cheap to run also. Bike gets 50 mpg. Dam good. I'm Sure there is cheap loans out there. With all the stuff on it. You can make it a 200k bike. And I am sure it will kick any Honda ass.
St. Boni has one. Also Kawi is offering loan deals and cash back. Now is the time to buy.

The bike you are talking about is a Kawi H2 SX or SE. I would go for the SE. This bike has your name all over it. And if this bike is going to be your last. Then this is it hands down.

Now is the time to get this done. Re-flash your ECU. Get the better gas mileage you want and more power so you are slicing the wind and not plowing through it. Then when spring is here get on one of the forums and see what other like for wind screens. Then you won't know if your plowing or slicing.

General Banter / RIP Barney Larson
« on: January 08, 2018, 07:24:36 PM »
If you don't know Barney. He was the owner of Larson's Cycle in Cambridge MN.
I believe he passed away at his home on Friday or Saturday.
I meet Barney way back when I was 16. My family started buying bikes from him way back then. I talked to him every time I was at the shop. We always talk at the track as well. We even raced each other a few times.
I was told he still opened the doors in the morning.
I will miss him. Rest in Peace.
Vince
If you would like to celebrate his life. That is at the Cambridge Lutheran Church. This Thursday from 11:30am. Service starts at 1 pm.

I don't know if Dave was a member here. But I have ridden with him many times. I think you may have seen him at Rays for a few MotoGP races.
He had the Green 250 Ninja with the ugly yellow travel trunk on the back of his bike.
We laughed about it every time we rode together.

I will miss you Dave.

Yes it was smaller. But it was just as good as any other time. Because the word was out that it was not as good. It was better. Not as many people showed up so you could walk around much easier. Nice I thought.

I have ridden one of these. I can tell you it is a lot of fun. You can take corners even faster and feel really safe doing it.

The VFR should be fine on trips. I have taken my ZX10 and my R1 on trips and there are fine.

I have no fear of the young guys. It's all those old guys that scare me.
