Bike Help / Titanium exhaust tubing, can it be expanded?
« on: February 08, 2015, 05:01:27 PM »
Hey all,
Was just wondering if anyone knows if titanium tubing(muffler inlet) can be expanded like normal exhaust pipe tubing if usin the same type of tooling/machine at the local exhaust shop?  I have a 65mm inlet on a canter that I would llke to expand 10mm to 75mm.  Anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks!

2013 was the year they got the much needed and appreciated upgrades wasn't it?

I rode one about 8 miles on my test loop last summer and it was much nicer than I expected and it did wheelies all day long.
they aren't terrible to work on, I have zero input on riding it for a 300 or 400 mile day though

Thanks. That's helpful information!

General Banter / KTM RC8? Looking for input.
« on: March 13, 2014, 06:52:04 PM »
Hey all,
I figured I would ask here since this is the place with the most diversity & knowledge when it comes different bikes/brands among members.  I am looking for input(positive and negative) regarding the KTM RC8. Have any of you owned/currently own one?  What do you like and dislike about the bike?  I'm thinking about picking up a new 2013 and just want to hear if there is a known reason to stay away from it.  I like the V-twin power as I had a Ducati 1098S but wanted to give something different a try.  I look forward to your input!

Thanks,
-John

General Banter / Re: Snowmobile ride.
« on: January 21, 2014, 07:12:32 AM »
All right John! I was thinking it was you. I could only see your eyes. Lol. Hope you had a great time. We sure did. The trails were great for us. How was your ride?

Hi Vince,
Yes, the trails were great but our day got cut short with my buddys sled loosing a piston.  You probably saw it trailside about 20 miles north of Silver Bay on the NSST at a road crossing.  Heck, you maybe even saw us heading back to the hotel nuts to butts to get the truck/trailer....  :(

2011 2500HD LTZ Z71. Sheer silver, 6.0L loaded with every option except rear DVD and navigation. 12K miles. I ordered this truck new and have come to the conclusion that I simply do not need this much of a truck & do not drive it enough to justify. That shows by the lack of miles. Still under factory warranty. It is in PERFECT/SHOWROOM condition! Additions are a Access Lorado tonneau cover, LED box lighting, Line-X spray in bed liner, 3M hood protection. Free & clear title in hand for easy transaction! $1000.00 BELOW BLUE BOOK! $40,500.00

PM or E-mail

Thanks,

Black/Black in color. I swapped the stock grey panels(which I thought was a mis-matched color on this sled) with black panels. This is an X model(spring order only which came with upgraded gauge package and rebuildable aluminum body shocks). Powder Max track option. All applicable updates have been done and the sled has been meticulously maintained. Excellent/perfect condition! Extras include BRP skid plate, electric start, BRP tunnel bag, scratchers, Quick Clickers, BRP knee pads, more!  1915 western(Wyoming) miles, never ridden in the Midwest snirt.  Original owner. Always transported in an enclosed trailer and always has been a perfect sled.  $6200.00 firm.  Sled is located in Twin Cites, MN area(Loretto, 55357).

Thanks,
-John
