For Sale/Wanted to Buy / No Mar classic hd tire changer $400
« on: June 07, 2020, 09:56:41 AM »
No Mar classic hd tire changer.  Used very little and getting too old to change tires.  Tire changer was ordered with the hitch mount vs the permanent floor mount stand so i could hang the changer from the ceiling when not being used.  If you wanted to mount it permanently to the floor you can either order the base from No Mar or build your own. $400 firm.

GONE, spoken for.....FREE (pick up only - Apple Valley)...cleaning out the garage and have a tire changing setup I used for the last ten years before springing for a No Mar.   Setup bolts to your workbench (one 3/4" hole) and then you clamp motorcycle rim down (no need to remove the disks)  Padded with hose to prevent scratches and have a few plastic rim guards with it as well all you wil need are a few tire irons.  PM me if interested.

General Banter / Cradar - CRAsh Detection And Response App.
« on: February 14, 2012, 08:03:03 AM »
In the back of my mind when I play around in the twisties by myself is the possibility of an unforeseen incident and how long I might be there.  Ran onto this free android app on another site.  Following is a link for more info http://actionxl.com/CRADAR.html

Top line details:

CRADAR is a man-down application that runs on any Android phone.

CRADAR senses when you fall, waits 30-120 seconds (whatever you set it for), and if it doesn't see you move at least 8 feet, sends a text message to one of your contacts telling them you might be hurt. This gives your contact a chance to call you to see if you're ok.

In the text message is a link to Google Maps with your GPS coordinates.
If they don't get an answer, they know exactly where you are, and have the GPS coordinates so other people can find you too.

Been able only to make a few rides each year but schedule looks much more favorable this year. Already signed up for Hedonistic Enthusiasm (need to learn how my new K1300S handles), TwisStar and shooting for Slimey Crud.  Riding for 30+ years.  Hope to see everyone out there.  Randy
