Ray, Happy Birthday!
Take a moment to reflect on your accomplishments with the MN-MSTA over the years. You did a remarkable job transitioning the group from the the old newsletter days "back in the day" to a web based culture.
We've had our differences but on my own reflection, it's hard to imagine where things would be today if you hadn't started MN-Sportbike, then MN-MSTA websites.
I am amazed at your resolve. After that initial spike of heavy participation with MN-Sportbike, the subsequent waning would have had me packing up and leaving it for someone else to bury. You hung in there to resurrect the recent interest. As much as I often thought about dropping my membership, I know I will be missing some continuity in my life. I hope you get some pride and satisfaction that you provide this continuity for several of us.
So take this day....or no...the whole weekend to step back and allow yourself the satisfaction of what you have accomplished here. You deserve it. I hope everyone would take the same moment to thank Ray for his often overlooked and under-appreciated efforts.
P.S. I made a copy of this. If you nuke it, I will keep posting it. Allow yourself a day to sit back and accept everyone's gratitude!

Happy Birthday Ray. As Paul mentioned, very few have given as much to the motorcycling community in Minnesota as you have. Cheers!

Paul I don't think you quite get the "one thing to say"...it goes like this;
HaPpY BiRtHdAy Ray, you are doing good old man.
(You know I had to give you a hard time about a "long" post...)

The subject line is suppose to grab readers attention (possible DRAMA ahead.)

It took a bit of work to get that bit down. I really don't know how you guys can pull off those 1000+ word postings.

Happy Birthday Ray!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes folks.
While we may all have our differences from time to time, that we can count each others as friends is what matters most in the end.

Happy Birthday Ray! And THANK YOU for all you do for the MSTA.
I have met some incredible lifelong friends and mentors through this forum. The "old pharts" of this group (and you know who you are) have greatly enriched my riding experiences and my life. I could drone on endlessly about that topic, but I'll leave that for another post. ;)
Bottom line: Though we don't always take the time to say it, we do see and appreciate all you have done over the years for this group.
Thank you!!!

Happy birthday Ray, and thanks for keeping this forum running despite the occasional contentiousness. I have met many riders on here that I enjoy riding with and appreciate that this venue is available to MN riders.
Hope it was a good one! :)
