Title: Another newbie looking to ride

My name is Dan and I'm addicted to motorcycling. :)  Looking forward to meeting up for a few rides before winter.  I started out riding/racing ATV's in the 80's then got into roadracing in the late 90's til today.  Turned to motocross for a few years and then a co-worker got me into sport touring down in Arkansas and the rocky mountains.  I have ridden an '02 VFR800 for the last 7 years and have been doing a few races each summer with an SV650 with the CRA.  I still have an '02 CR250 for dirt biking but family and work have put a damper on seat time.  I've done a few rides with COG (Concourse Owners Group) and would love to join you for a ride.  I did a little poking around but didn't see rides posted on the calander.  How are these communicated to the group?

Welcome Dan.  Check out the rides subforum, I don't think that everything posted in there always hits the calendar.

Welcome!!  There's rides all the time around here but like Lloyd said you have to be logged in.

I put on some good weekday rides but typically they are shorter notice as of late.

Hope you can make it out to meet everyone sometime!!
