That would have been an RD350..I had one of those as well for a short while, as well as an RZ350 for about 3 years...The RZ was great fun on the street for whoolies--but sucked ass on the track...But everyone has there opinion

Those are some old Metzeler tires on that bike---and shiny too...lol
Is that an actual photo of your bike or some "stock" photo you just posted up?
Does Toomey still make a complete exhuast/Intake package for it??? That was the hot ticket!

It is a picture of the actual bike. More here: linky (https://picasaweb.google.com/116165546705552642509/RZ350StockOriginalKennyRoberts)
Yeh, first order of business will be some new shoes. Got any that would fit her Lloyd?
-
wow, ar you sure you want to take something that cherry to the track?
-
No I wouldn't have those sizes sitting around...
But a set of;
Pirelli sport Demons would run $200
Bridgestone BT45 would run $155
Metzeler Lasertecs----too damn much--over $250 for a pair
Was this recently "restored" or has it simply hardly been ridden for 27 years?
You may want to think about (if this is a bike that has been sitting around endlessly);
rebuilding the master cylinders and calipers. Forks and shock. Definitely repacking all the grease bearing components...ie--swingarm bearings, swingarm linkages, steeringhead bearings, wheel bearings,. Lubing the cables really good. Hell I would even pull the heads and exhaust off and look at the pistons and cylinders. Of course all those orings in the carburetors I would replace....If it has an original air filter-they definitely deteriorate with age.
Taking it to the track.....suspension and a fork brace.......unless you just want to ride liesurely around for nostalgia sake and to garner attention--and then jump on something else to actually have fun on and go zoom zoom.....

damn, what does one of those go for nowadays in that condition?
-
Beautiful bike....
