LOL...

I did not include any language to suggest I wanted to violate your virtue. PLus I have no desire to see any naked pictures of you.

It is however very nice of you to come visit and let some know it is not you as YUL.
You were the first, and only polite inquiry.  Then there was a gap of time and someone distributed my personal email.

All I can say is, "OMG!  I am so going to blog about this in study hall."

…. But thanks for asking.

For those who have inquired via my personal email as to my possible identity as YUL, I am not.  You can stop sending me emails now.

I am sure that Ray can verify via my IP addresses that I am not.  I have now logged on from work and home.

For those of you who seem to have a desire to repeatedly reference my anal orifice in a violent manner in your emails – I have to admit, that’s kind of hot!  If you send me any more emails I will gladly send you some expressive and artistic pictures of me naked in a clear envelope to your work address.  ;)

I own a bunch of Motoport stuff.  Don't bother.  It's nice, but nowhere as nice as the price.  The life span is poor.

I have a strong bias towards leather after spending a number of years with textiles.  I want my leather back!

I've had the opportunity to spend some time with the Aerostich waterproof leathers.  I find them to be very, very nice, but don't expect to put anything in the pockets.

The Aerostich waterproof leathers are the least expensive waterproof leathers on the market by at least 50%.  They made it for 6 hours in light drizzle and heavy rain.  They don't quite flex/stretch as much as normal leathers, but they are 90% there.  I slightly noticed a difference.

Considering your size and ability, a waterproof leather would seem to be best.  You know how to use your bike and adjust your body position to get the best out of it.  The problem with textiles is that they don't stretch as easily as leathers to adjust to body position.  The Roadcrafter doesn't stretch at all, so you have to rely on it being larger that leathers.  The tradeoff is that the pads will not stay in place during a crash.  The slide away.

I figure if you ever crash, it's going to be big and by something beyond your control.  If I were you, I'd want the Aerostich waterproof leathers with custom T-pro armor.

This is what I have: http://www.camelbak.com/government-military/hydration-packs/hi-viz.aspx

There are many advantages.  It's Hi-Viz, it has tear-away straps, and an anti-bacterial bladder.

I won't try to drink while I ride, but I can tell you that you would most likely want to get a different end piece.  The tube is anti-bacterial as well, but the end piece is most likely too large to easily get into a helmet.  You can just pop it off and put on any end you want.

I did the rough math, and I've put 550 liters of water through mine without ever cleaning it.  It is just fine.  No funk. Just rinse.

I've only had to have the tear away straps do their job once, and they did their job well.

I also own a mil-spek Camelbak Mule.  It's nice, but a bit much as far as size (it's a good sized back pack/day pack as well.)

Bottom line:  I really like my anti-bacterial mil-spec bladder.  It's the only daily use piece of equipment I own that is still doing its job after three years.  It's also the least expensive piece of gear I use.

As far as being warm on your back, I don't have a problem with it, but I've been told that I'm a little different than the average person when it comes to high heat, sweating, and discomfort.  It doesn't bother me, but a on very hot day the ventilated back piece gets quite hot and wet with me.  Considering how it is attached, I have to believe it offers some level of back protection with water in the bladder as well.

Again, that doesn't bother me at all, so I would suggest that for a normal person, a mil-spec bladder in a tank bag with a 90 degree valve added would be a great option.
