For me, it's a 25 mile section of highway 28 running north out of Franklin NC up to highway 74.

I did ride the VFR through last year. If the gate near the west end is open you can make it end to end.

There was a recent article in the Duluth New Tribune regarding J Cooke, it looks like its going to be a two year rebuild for it. Sound like there's a Lot of bank stabilization to do.

Read an article in the Duluth News Trib that J Cooke is going to be reopened late 2015. Good news to be sure!

When it didn't work for me I was just curious if I'd missed something. You don't have to monkey with it far as I'm concerned.

It seems kind of foolish that the State would spend the money to build the bridge (what... to nowhere?) without plans to reconnect the road. Same here, fingers x'ed they get it done. I really miss it!

Bought the bike with 5k miles... up to 51k now. Had a few electrical issues to sort, but now that I know what to watch for I have had no problems, only smiles  :)

Hey John, glad to see ya signed up. Short notice, but the Spring Green ride is this weekend starting on Friday. It would be great if you could join us and meet some of the gang. Anyway welcome and hope to see ya soon. 8)

Probably not going to happen, least this time around. Work will get in the way for another year, then.... retirement. Ye haw!

Howdy All,

Bumped into Mike at a rest stop on a ride the other day and he told me about this board, so I figured I'd sign up!

Riding a '04 Honda VFR 800 gota tell ya, I'm really enjoying this bike!

Anywho, just wanted to say hello and give a little shoutout from Duluth!
