GOLDEN(maybe tarnished brass)AGERS?
« on: June 12, 2016, 04:44:46 PM »
How many other retirees, baby boomers, or fellow curmudgeons are out there? My weekday rides aren't getting huge results-3 in May and just Gramps last week. That's better than the end of last season when  there were 3 solos but there must be more of such folks in the area. It is understandable that most have to do their riding on weekends but the weekdays offer such serene lack of traffic. If you know anyone that might be interested in such rides cue them into the forum. GJ

Hi, John

I hope to make a ride or two when I can take a break from work.

Keep letting us know when you are venturing out.

As well as being an old fart, I suppose I fit that description.
Ride mostly on Sundays but wouldn't mind weekdays if you can put up with a conservative rider.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous.
It is however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence or stupidity.

I'm conservative in most everything but politics. All are welcome and you'll find I may even slow down when the road gets straight.

Sounds good.
I can ride just about any weekday except Wednesday.
I live in Apple Valley and usually ride SW Wisconsin.
