Tire manufacturing date

I have 3 different tires that were never used. The manufacturing date on them is 04 and 05. Just out of curiosity, do you guys think they are compromised in any way?
I plan on using them (This year) even if they are.

At the IMS this year the man from Dunlap said that if the tire is stored inside and out of the sun light they are good for almost ever. If you store them outside only a couple of years.

Thanks guys,
I figured it doesn't really make a difference.
