What’s different?
I feel better today.
Stresses are more manageable.
Co-workers are more interesting.
An overall better sense of well being.
Thighs are still burning, but body and mind are at peace.
I wish this feeling wasn’t for only half the year.
What's different? A day that started as hell (39º) and became 6 hours of the body releasing endorphins.
God's (or nature's ... your choice) way of making it worth riding again.

These people have taught me more about riding than any day spent on a track: Larry B, Tony K, Vince J, Mr. Wonderful, V2Neal, Marty F, Kevin B, Devon W, Ehrich, Mike A, John L, Arnell, Kirk, Ray C
Track days are like climbing the rock wall at REI.
Perhaps I need to stop taking the high road.

sunday, not today
*edit*
lol, I was trying to be poetic with my OP. I should have known better with this crowd. (jk)
I'm referring to how I feel today and everyday after a good ride.

I am still looking forward to my riding therapy. I had to take the engine out of the CX500 to get the stator out. Waiting for new stator to arrive...any...day...now. Trust me, I tested the hell out of it before I pulled the engine. I was not wanting it to be the stator, but reality bites. I will have to enjoy the zen of working on the bike while everyone else is out riding. Honest, I am not jealous, I am just Zen...yeah, that is it.
Enjoy the riding!!

It is good for you. I just pulled my gl650 apart and have the new/old starter clutch ready to go in. The screws holding clutch to flywheel were loose. Even though it would start eventually-can you imagine the mischief one of those screws would make in a running engine? Do you know 'Deuce'another GL guy-met him at 1st thursday and he had a similar problem with a loose stator screw-luckily he caught it in time. ::)GJ

Got the stator in and the engine back in. No extra bolts, no missing bolts but the real bonus is that the new stator is working nicely. Wahooo! Let the therapy begin. My 10 mile shakedown ride was nice, but then I had to get back to work.
Guzzi John - Glad you got your bike sorted. I can imagine the damage a loose flywheel bolt would do.
