Joe from New Brighton. Unsure if I'll ever make it on a group ride, but I do like watching forums like these to just stay connected with what is going on. Current bikes include a 2002 VFR, 1999 Vulcan Nomad, and a 2010 KLX250S. We also have a 2009 Ninja 650R that my wife and oldest son ride.
Past bikes of mine include an R1200GS, GSXR600, 2000 Ducati SS 750, 2001 Concours, KLR650, ZRX1200R, SV650S. We also keep a couple of dirt bikes and ATV's up at the cabin - based on the kids' age the inventory changes. Of the bikes I've owned I probably miss the Ducati 750 the most. I sold the 750 thinking I wanted to try a 600. Wish I would've just borrowed somebody else's for while instead.
I plan on doing one track day this year. I've been doing track days going on 10 years and I'm as slow as ever and like it that way. Most assume that by showing up to a track day that means you want to eventually become a motorcycle racer. For me that couldn't be farther from the truth. I just want to make laps in a safe car-free environment and have fun.
My longest motorcycle trip was to Banff, Alberta a couple of years ago. I also did the Minnesota 1000 in 2002.
My family is very active. I have kids involved with sports year around - soccer, swimming, cross-country running, skiing. My oldest is now off at college. My wife does several triathlons every year and I am her primary training partner. I also love to bicycle which includes bicycling to work. I do race bicycles occasionally doing a couple of duathlons in the summer and a few cyclocross races each fall. I'm solidly in the middle of the pack, but it keeps me motivated to exercise.

Howdy! Something funny about that VFR with the backrest and solo seat combo. Very nice collection though!
