Riding During Coronavirus
« on: April 14, 2020, 03:49:59 PM »
I received this message from Twisted Road.  I have seen some states that allow riding and some that don't.  Here is something that may help you decide.  Check out twistedroad.com

Other than the gas station exposure, the rest of the "cons" aren't really things, are they?  😁

Are you breaking the stay at home order? They are enforcing it, so I heard on the news this morning. ::)

I have been riding in groups on weekday and weekends with no problems.

We here in MN - at the time of this writing - are allowed to "drive for pleasure".

MC riding would certainly fall in that description IMHO.  (Even though we are "riding" not "driving" I am sure they are viewed the same)

My 2 cents.....

Now if the temps would get above freezing..... :headbang:

And the WI executive order has Outdoor Activity as essential (11.c.), and not limited to the list they provided...  not that they wouldn't just enforce whatever they want if they think you shouldn't be out there, but I'd be willing to ask for forgiveness.

I've gotten out a few times but no groups yet. Hoping to soon if some rides start being posted here.

If not for the recent cold snap, I'd be out riding at least a little bit.  I did get the oil changed and the first 100 miles of the season a couple weeks back. Looking forward to next week, not just for riding, but to get out in the garage for a good detailing and will do the brake and clutch fluid as those felt a bit spongy.  Did them both last year, but it's amazing how much more I notice the it as I've gotten older.
