Replacing House Windows
« on: July 21, 2011, 05:02:29 PM »
Anyone have experience with this?  I've got two in my townhouse that need to be replaced due to cracking.  I'm going to do full frame replacement for them and so far have got a quote for $2400 (Pella) and one for $3300 (Andersen).  Anyone have a company they'd recommend?  I was hoping to keep this under 2 g's but maybe that's not realistic...

I had all the windows in my house replaced in 2010 with Marvin windows.  Very nice and made in Warroad.

The guys installing really liked the Marvins because they were setup really nice for replacement. With some other windows I looked at the installer asked, "Would you rather have a window designed and made by somebody in Georgia or Minnesota?"

And if you're looking for somebody to stain your windows, Jason did a great job.
