2011 Mileage report
« on: November 29, 2011, 09:17:37 PM »
Between 2 FJR's about 12k miles.  I commuted to work 28 miles round trip much of the summer,  but most miles were put on joy cruising and WI day trips.   Never left the state of MN or WI except for a couple skirmishes through NE Iowa.  Hopefully Arkansas next year, but would also like to visit family in CO and ride some of the great roads there or do another trip somewhere to the mountains west or east.

How many lucky miles did you rack up this year?

Beats me!  I know I rode over 200 miles on the last track day at BIR this year.   8)  And I broke 100 miles at DCTC a couple times, which is more work than a 200-mile BIR day.  Almost hit 100 miles of single-track on the KLX a couple of times.  I'd guess I rode a thousand or two this year.

I was down a bike for a 6 weeks in the middle of the summer (insert fist shaking at GSX-R here) and thus didn't make my goal of 20k. But I did manage to get 16k miles in, 10k on the GSX-R and 6k on the zx10r.

No commuting miles, nearly all twisty riding. Mostly MN,IA,WI... but also ~2500 Arkansas miles spread over two trips and 6 track days spread over BIR (short and long course), MAM, and Barber. It was a good year of riding.  ;D
It's not what you ride, but how you ride it that counts!

Eh.  Well under 3000 miles for me this year, mostly at DCTC, BIR and MAM.  You can call me Pedrosa since every time I fall down I break something and can't ride...  Looking forward to a full season of part time employment next year and having every weekend off!

I got my bike mid August so in 3 months I was able to put on 5600 miles in the street plus 2 track days. Great first season!

Pretty slow year for me overall.

Only managed about 9500 miles between the two bikes.

But I also didn't go around Superior this season & worked a lot more weekends than usual.

I hope I can improve on that number for next season!!

14.5k this season between my old Fzr and my new (to me) sv.
Did my first saddle sore 1000, dragged knee for the first time and went to DCTC for the first time. Overall a pretty good year, am already planning some trips for 2012

I did about 16-18k miles for the year between the three bikes. Longest trip was a lap around Lake Superior with a couple days around Copper Harbor on the way back. Longest day ride was a rare
outing to Dubuque and back. Had great weather and good companionship on both these rides.

Almost 8.8K miles this year on my Lil'Wee and SuperT...Looking for my 5th bike purchase in a single year without having destroyed my marriage.   Made it to Maine last summer.  Way more ambitious for next year...Arizona, Tennesee, Colorado and Alaska to name a few, without destroying my marriage!

About 15000 for the year; 1800 on the Valk before selling, then another 13200 on the Versys. Longest day ride was to Spring Green and back (roughly 600) via all those lovely WI letter roads.

6185 is it, mostly commuting, a couple sporting days and maybe one or two over 300...  not a great year, but it was all good.

a.s.

p.s.  I would also like to hear the plans for Alaska, I'd like to ride my Ninja up there.
