Response to an add placed on WERA (FBI complaint submitted)

You don't need to bother yourself about the shippping, I have an international courier shipping company that would come for the pick-up, they would also determine and secure the shipment because i have some other items which would be shipped along with yours so let me have the weight of the helmet so that a waybill can be created before the shipping would be done cause i would be adding some extra fees to the check which is meant for the shipping and insurance. All you need to know is as soon as you receive the check, you would deduct your fee and send the rest funds to the shipping company information that would be provided to you in the meantime. I would tell my secretary to call you, so please get back to me ASAP with your Full Name, Address, Phone Number and what you decide so we can proceed with the payment. I would be hoping to hear from you as soon as possible."

These things are all over the place, about half the time I put something on Craigslist I get one of these. I feel sorry for the people that don't figure it out. How do these crooks get away with it?

I think the way it works, they send you a check and use the info from cashing the check to get into your account, with all the other info you give them.

F, am I that obtuse?  By "they" I mean't the FBI provided me a tracking number for the case.

I had one of these ads sent to me and when they asked where to send the check, I sent them the head of CIAs Infomation. She emailed back saying how she was gonna report me to the FBI and CIA and I said go right ahead they already have the check. Hahahah


From what I understand:

They send you the check.
You cash the check and send the item and pay for shipping.
You send the item.
Once the item is sent, the check bounces and now you owe the bank money and lose the item you had for sale (because you already sent it)

Agreed selling price is $100000.  Please send your cheque to my post office box - no problem clearing the cheque.

More so, i have made payment and shipping arrangement already,The shipping company is reliable and

dependable,i am told that they receive there shipping charges via western union money transfer.
