new to this forum intro
« on: August 17, 2010, 07:16:19 PM »
Hi all, I met some of you this past sunday on the tri-state,tri-forum sunday run... Loved it. Followed Greg's post about joining up here in search of the elusive looong and twisty rides,,,, with no drama....... very appealing!

My name is Tom Coen, I have the Speed Triple (and love it). Met Greg, Roger, Vince, amongst others,,, Fletcher (user name) is my dog. pictures on FB.

Anyway,,, perhaps I'll add the resume in that other dudes thread.....

Look forward to some drama free twistiness.

Adios

Tom C.

Welcome to the forum Tom. Although not very active on this forum, there are a bunch of RATS who are members. We tend to see them on Slimey Crud and TWiSTAR rides.

Welcome Tom! We rode together for awhile. I encourage you to check out the R.A.T.  Group based out of Belle Plaine Motorsports. Good bunch of guys

Welcome Tom!

*there's a ride on Sunday* ..... but you already know that.    ;)

These people have taught me more about riding than any day spent on a track: Larry B, Tony K, Vince J, Mr. Wonderful, V2Neal, Marty F, Kevin B, Devon W, Ehrich, Mike A, John L, Arnell, Kirk, Ray C

Track days are like climbing the rock wall at REI.
Perhaps I need to stop taking the high road.

Hi Tom!
Those who have actually NEVER tried riding the track could learn a thing or 10 about being a better streetrider; because let's be honest; none of us (Greg) are as great as we think we are. LMAO!

RAT - Riders Association of Triumph

Slimey Crud - Popularized by Peter Egan of Cycle World and Road and Track this ride is an excuse for a ride which draws bikes of all types to the three building town of Leland, Wisconsin in the spring and fall on the first Sunday of May and October. A 400 mile day of twisty riding to get there and back, this is a must ride for anyone who wants to experience the richness of the midwestern motorcycling scene.

TWiSTAR - The Wisconsin Sport Touring Association Rendezvous, a ride weekend for the MSTA members.
