New Guy
« on: August 19, 2010, 08:47:10 PM »
Hey,
heard about this forum since their group rides and riding style are often mentioned on other forums. :) I recognize some of the screen names on here.

I rode a lot in '07 on a '85 Kawi 900, took a 2 year break from riding, and then got a '99 gsx-r 750 this season I have been putting the miles on. Looking forward to meeting some new people and maybe going on some longer rides.

Hwy 92 in Colorado, worth the 1000m slab to get there...
It's not what you ride, but how you ride it that counts!

Welcome to the forum. And your name would be...?

I owned a couple of Ninja 900s back in the day and used to live very close to CO 92. Look forward to seeing you on a ride.

His name is Ben Dover.

 :D

Hey man. Good to see you made it over here, too.

Welcome. If that is the road that runs above Black Canyon I rode it once with a few people on this forum.
Enjoy your stay here.

Hey, as the others have given away by now, my name's Ben. Though not actually 'Ben Dover' (thanks Luke!  :P)

I had a lot of fun with my Ninja 900, comfortable ergo's and a nice torquey power band. I wouldn't mind having another one someday for a cruising around bike.

Also, I'm jealous if you lived near CO 92. There's a lot of good roads out there, judging from the short week I spent exploring out there this summer. I will have to pick your brain if (when) I go back out there on two wheels.

Hey Ben!

Nice to see that you are posting!

Thanks for the welcome Ryan! :) I want to talk to you about your Alaska plans sometime too...

That's the one, probably my favorite road anywhere so far.
