It's not this is a pic from leo's south when they probably just took it out of the crate. I haven't took any more pics of it yet.

Welcome... when did you get that bike being that it's a 'new' 2008?  That's quite a holdover!

How long have you been into motorcycling and what other bikes have you owned?

I bought it about 3 weeks ago from leos south. Bike had 160 miles on it and came with a 2 year warranty. They still classified it as new. I have road bikes for about 7 years now. Im originally from grand rapids Minnesota and i use to use a buddy's XR650L all the time. I did buy a 2006 gsxr 600 last year after I had sold my Evo. I kept that bike for about 2 months and sold it because my Evo was faster and the bike was a huge down grade to me. Then every once in awhile i road my buddy's aprilia and fell in love with the torque!

You must have had quite the mods to that EVO or you didn't like to wring out the GSXR which traps about 130mph in the 1/4.  Either way torque does rule.

Yes sir I did 600hp in that thing! I did love when the gsxr started to pull tho up top! Just wasn't the type of bike for me.

Dang what a beast.  Come out for a ride to discover a lot of fun new roads away from traffic.  Just be careful to take it easy until you build up your skill level, especially with that pretty new bike!

Those who have actually NEVER tried riding the track could learn a thing or 10 about being a better streetrider; because let's be honest; none of us (Greg) are as great as we think we are. LMAO!

Well finally another Ape around. I'm in Champlin and do monthly monday rides in the 'Hill Country'. I'm ancient(65) but still love twisties.  There are some nice areas North and West of here.  My Futura has been looking for relatives-haven't seen another Ape for quite a while. Guzzi John ::)

I've had several Ape's, currently have a 2009 Tuono Factory. A friend of mine just picked up a 2002 Futura in Texas.
