The CBR and a bike I bought in December, but have never ridden go.

I bought another bike in January which has yet to break cover, so if things continue on this path, I'll be on two new to me bikes this season.

Damn... That bike looks like a beast from every angle.  I like what they did with the ergos too, should be an amazing riding experience.  Congrats Ray!  I think your other bikes won't see many miles next season.

Is it faster than a speeding ticket?

A distinct lack of tank bag and GPS mounts for the 1199, could keep the miles down on this bike, but we shall see.

My guess is that BMW has an HP S1000RR in the works that will up the ante again.  Kudos to BMW and Ducati for raising the bar - the Jap response has been anemic, to say the least.

 Atleast those "anemic" jap bikes can be ridden day in and day out everyday without having to rob a bank every week, see a chiropractor every 200 miles and go in for extensive maintenance multiple times a year (if any actually are ridden for more than show)......

Seems to me everyone I know who owns a duc has a jap bike as there daily rider that they actually trust and have fun on as well as log the miles on then a duc for a once or twice ride each year, usually short and usually just for show......

So from a riders standpoint ;
"anemic" Jap bike +100000000000000000000000000000

overpriced Duc 0

Let the argument insue.

The S1000RR can be ridden daily (I know) and the new Duc can; apparently, based on the reviews.

Arguing with an idiot just means there are two of you - comes to mind

You know Ray that I am Italian. So maybe I should go with you when it comes in and ride it home for you. Because the bike is so high priced you might feel better if you are the 2nd person to ride it than the first. Let me know when.
